Nissan Juke Front 3/4 View

During the drive of the new 2011 Nissan Juke, a lengthy ferry ride meant a little bit of down time, but this provided a unique opportunity to interact with random people walking past the Juke. It was surprising how much attention this little crossover would get in parking lots, at stop lights and especially at the ferry terminal where there was nothing better to do than walk around. For the most part, the Juke was well received by many of the people who inquired about it, and it is interesting to note that few people talked about its looks as much as they would ask about the performance or fuel economy.


At the end of the trip, it was clear that the Juke has lived up to Nissan’s self-proclaimed “urban sport cross” title. Its small stature makes it a perfect car to drive around in the city, while the turbocharged engine and available all-wheel drive help make it a fun vehicle to drive. The 2011 Nissan Juke hits Nissan showrooms this month, and if the initial public perception is any indication of its popularity, Nissan likely has a big hit on its hands.
